Raw Garnet Ore – Foam Structure

Product Description

Raw Garnet Ore, also known as Garnet Foam, is the unprocessed form of garnet extracted directly from the mine. It features a naturally porous, foam-like texture and a dark red coloration, typical of high-quality almandine garnet. This material is used as the primary feedstock for producing industrial-grade abrasive garnet.

Industrial Uses and Applications

  • Abrasive industry: production of garnet grades 20/40, 30/60 and fine mesh abrasives.
  • Waterjet cutting: premium abrasive for high-precision cutting.
  • Sandblasting: surface cleaning and preparation for metal structures.
  • Water filtration: long-lasting natural filtration media.
  • Construction: specialty aggregates and coating materials.

Available Sizes

  • 20–80 mm raw lumps
  • Run-of-Mine material
  • Pre-selected industrial grades

Extraction and Processing

The material is extracted from metamorphic deposits, then washed, crushed, magnetically separated and size-graded when required. Chemical and physical testing ensures suitability for abrasive, filtration or industrial applications.

Main origins include India, Australia, Pakistan, China, South Africa and Turkey.
