Product Description
Clear Quartz Crystal is one of the purest and most transparent forms of silicon dioxide (SiO₂). Known for its high clarity, hexagonal crystal structure and exceptional stability, clear quartz is widely used in jewelry, decoration, electronics, glass production and industrial applications.
Available Forms
- Raw quartz crystals
- Quartz points
- 20–80 mm translucent lumps
- Selected decorative-grade crystals
- Industrial-grade quartz
Technical Properties
- SiO₂: 95–99.5%
- Hardness: 7 Mohs
- High transparency or translucency
- Hexagonal crystal structure
- Chemically inert and non-toxic
Applications
- Jewelry & decoration: raw crystals, carvings, ornaments and interior design.
- Energy & wellness: natural crystal points and healing-grade material.
- Glass manufacturing: used as high-quality silica feedstock.
- Electronics: piezoelectric components and precision instruments.
- Foundries & metallurgy: thermal processing additives.
- Construction: decorative aggregates and specialty surfaces.
Extraction and Processing
Quartz crystal is extracted through selective mining, then washed, size-sorted and graded according to clarity and purity. Clear quartz is separated into A, B and C grades depending on transparency and structural quality.
Main origins include Pakistan, Brazil, Madagascar, India, China and Namibia.
