Zinc Ore – Industrial Raw Material

Product Description

Zinc Ore is an essential industrial mineral used for the production of metallic zinc, galvanizing processes, alloys and a wide range of chemical and industrial applications. The most common zinc minerals include sphalerite (ZnS) and smithsonite (ZnCO₃).

Available Grades

  • Zn 25–35% – Standard grade
  • Zn 35–45% – Medium grade
  • Zn 45–55% – High grade
  • Zn 55–60% – Premium grade (depending on origin)

Available Forms

  • Lumps (20–80 mm)
  • Crushed zinc ore
  • Zinc concentrate
  • Unprocessed raw ore
  • Custom bulk shipments

Industrial Applications

  • Zinc metal production
  • Steel galvanizing for corrosion resistance
  • Alloys: brass, zamak and specialized metals
  • Chemical industry: zinc oxide, zinc sulfate, pigments
  • Electrical components and batteries
  • Agriculture and pharmaceuticals: micronutrient production

Extraction and Processing

Zinc ore is mined through open-pit or underground operations, then crushed, milled and processed through flotation to obtain concentrates. After drying and grading, the ore is chemically analyzed for Zn, Fe, S, SiO₂ and moisture before shipment.

Main origins include Pakistan, Peru, Mexico, China, Morocco, Bolivia and Turkey.
